The inhabitants of the region of Valdor are panic-stricken. The list of young girls
who have disappeared is continually getting longer. To date, the number of missing
people now stands at seventeen. Seventeen young girls aged about fifteen,
have disappeared without a trace, with no witness to provide any clues as to their
whereabouts. Each disappearance is more sudden and unexpected than the last.
Lucie disappeared at the swimming pool in Foubre, Alice whilst going for an
X-ray at the hospital in Redou, Jeanne when she was trying on clothes in a store,
Anne Laure was reading in a deckchair on her balcony, Esther was walking on the
path to La Preuse, Delphine was in the bathroom, getting ready to go out...
They are all still missing.

Monday 29th August
Standstill

Detectives are baffled. Apart from their age, nothing points to any particular direction
in this case. They are all physically very different, from very different backgrounds
and disappeared in quite different places. Their families are categorical:
theirs are not the types of girls who would run away from home. The investigators
therefore have to determine whether one or several attackers are involved in this
affair and what their motives might be. In any case, leads have to be found as
quickly as possible, as a collective psychosis is beginning to take over the region.

Saturday 3rd September
A mysterious green mark

“It was John, my boyfriend, who noticed it first, saying, ‘Look, Lucile, your knee is
all green’. At first I thought it was just a bruise, but it is still green and the mark has
begun to spread. That was when I went to the hospital in Valdor.” After countless
analyses and auscultations, the doctors couldn’t find anything and could not explain
where this pigmentation had come from. Lucile spent several days in hospital and
underwent further tests in order determine the origin of this strange affliction.

Thursday 8th September
The Valdor virgins

Following the latest revelations by the police, everyone is talking of the kidnappings
of the virgins throughout the region. The only thing in common that the police
have been able to come up with is that the young girls who were abducted were
all virgins, who had never been known to have a boyfriend or relationships. Fears
of a sacrificial practice loom large throughout the region.

Les habitants de la région de Valdor sont terrorisés. La liste des jeunes filles disparues
ne cesse s’allonger. À ce jour, dixsept adolescentes âgées d’une quinzaine
d’années ont disparu sans laisser aucune trace, sans aucun témoin pour amorcer
un début de piste. Leur disparition est à chaque fois des plus impromptues.
Lucie a disparu à la piscine de Foubre, Alice lors d’une visite pour une radiographie
à l’hôpital de Redou, Jeanne alors qu’elle essayait des vêtements dans un magasin,
Laure lisait dans un transat sur son balcon, Esther se promenait sur le chemin de
La Preuse, Florence dormait nue dans son lit, Delphine se préparait dans sa salle de bain…
Elles restent toutes introuvables.

Lundi 29 août
Point mort

Les enquêteurs sont désarçonnés. Hormis leur âge, rien ne permet de donner
une orientation particulière à cette affaire. Les victimes ont toutes des physiques
très différents, viennent de milieux très divers, et ont disparu dans des endroits
très disparates. Les familles sont unanimes,leurs filles ne sont pas des fugueuses.
Il reste alors aux enquêteurs à déterminersi un ou plusieurs ravisseurs sont impliqués
dans cette affaire, et quelles pourraient être leurs motivations.
En tout cas, des pistes sont à trouver au plus vite, car une psychose collective
est en train de gagner la région.

Samedi 3 septembre
Une mystérieuse tache verte

« C’est Jean, mon petit ami, qui l’a remarqué en premier. Il m’a dit : regarde donc,
Anne tu as le genou tout vert. Au début, je croyais juste à un bleu, mais il est
toujours resté vert et la tache s’est mise à grossir. C’est alors que je me suis rendue
à l’hôpital de Valdor. » Après maintes analyses et auscultations, les médecins
n’ont rien trouvé, ils n’ont pu donner aucune explication quant à la provenance
de cette pigmentation. Anne va séjourner quelques temps à l’hôpital, et subir
d’autres examens, afin de déterminer l’origine de cette étrange affection.

Jeudi 8 septembre
Les vierges de Valdor

Suite aux dernières révélations de la police, on parle du ravissement des
Vierges dans toute la région. L’unique point commun que la police a pu établir
est que les jeunes filles enlevées seraient toutes vierges. On ne leur a jamais connu
aucun petit ami, ou relation amoureuse.
La peur d’une pratique sacrificielle plane sur la région.
